Videca celebrates 50 years

Last November 6th, Videca celebrated the 50th anniversary of the company together with its employees and shareholders.

During the ceremony Mr. Enrique Pons, President of the Board of Directors of Industrias Videca S.A., addressed a few words to attendees:

“None of those who were at the opening of the first premises of 240m2 that far on November 6th, 1965, could imagine to get where we are now.” What I can say is that we had great enthusiasm and determination to develop a business plan that would be useful for our surroundings”.

For the President of Videca, “the greatest satisfaction is that the company has been a constant source of employment for several generations, and thus has been able to contribute to the well-being of the towns in where is established: Villanueva de Castellón and Burriana”.

In conclusion, he thanked “who have worked from the beginning, and who do now, for the great contribution you have made to the company”.

To close the first part of the anniversary, a video was shown with a compilation of old images, and the current manufacturing process of Mandarin Segments in syrup.

The act ended with a wine of honor in which emerged memories and experiences, which were shared by all workers.
